Hi, I’m Claire, and I’m excited to help you find the perfect headpiece without the stress that can sometimes go with it!

I have been through the process of trying to find something for Royal Ascot, and found it difficult. Either the style was right, but the colour wasn’t, or the colour was about right, but I didn’t really like the style. I also found the cost just to rent was quite high. I ended up making something myself, and this was the start of the idea of Sceats Millinery.

I attended a millinery course at University of Arts London, Central Saint Martins and since then have been busy experimenting with different styles, building a collection of headpieces ranging from classic styles to more experimental, while keeping the range affordable.

Renting a headpiece from Sceats Millinery means you get to wear a statement piece without the commitment of purchasing. Why invest in a headpiece you’ll only wear once when you can rent the perfect one, tailored to your style and needs? See the right style, but it’s not the right colour? I will make it for you in your chosen colour(s), but still allow you to rent it.
